About Me
I am the Borough Councillor for Burbage South, Sketchley & Stretton and the Parish Councillor for Stretton. I was elected to both positions in May 2007, along with my ward colleagues Cllr Rob Mayne and Cllr David Inman. The Liberal Democrats also took control of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council at the same elections.
I am a Burbage native, having lived here since I was born in 1982, briefly on Begonia Drive but largely on Sketchley Road. I attended Grove Road Infant and Junior School, and King Henry VIII School. I then attended the University of Wales Aberystwyth where I completed a BA, MA and where I am writing up a PhD in economic geography.
